This route starts at a point connecting with the coastal route from Bai Tho Bridge through Quang Ninh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company, Quang Ninh Waterway Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company to Ha Long 1 market, in Bach Dang ward, Ha Long city.
Accordingly, the main route, including roads and bridges, is built along the waterfront of Ha Long Bay through the Passenger Wharf and the Headquarters of the Waterway Traffic Police Department to Ha Long 1 Market, with a route length of about 500m.
Along with that, build a branch road behind Ha Long 1 market (the section bordering Ha Long 1 market and Vincom flower garden); renovate Vincom flower garden behind Ha Long 1 market into a green area, square and technical infrastructure along with other auxiliary items such as water supply and drainage, parking lot, lighting, traffic safety system, etc.
The total investment is expected to be about 104 billion VND, of which the cost of site clearance is about 40 billion VND, from the Ha Long City budget. The project implementation period is expected to be from 2025 - 2026, striving to complete as soon as possible to improve investment efficiency.
The project's goal is to synchronize technical infrastructure and connect regional traffic to maximize the value of the World Natural Heritage landscape of Ha Long Bay and the regional landscape, associated with urban beautification and environmental sanitation.
This area has long been one of the most polluted areas along the coast of Ha Long Bay, especially water pollution, while it is a place that tourists often visit to sightsee and check in. Here, the seafood processing factory of Quang Ninh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company has been in the plan to relocate to another place for many years, and recently Quang Ninh province has planned about 4.3 hectares in Ha Phong fishing village, Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city to relocate the factory.
The area planned to open 500m of this road has a prime location in terms of natural landscape as well as tourism advantages, surrounded by Bai Tho mountain, Ha Long bay and Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road, very close to Long Tien pagoda, Ha Long 1 market, Vincom, Ha Long flower park...
Ha Long City has oriented the planning research of this area towards becoming a tourist service center with modern architecture, highlights and accompanying service facilities.
The current planning research area is the land of Quang Ninh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company (about 8,360m2) and Quang Ninh Waterway Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company (about 5,065m2); a part of Ha Long 1 market land; some separate residential plots of households located in between and a part of the water surface area of Ha Long Bay.
The total planning research area is about 27,830m2, of which the water surface area is about 11,635m2.
