Accordingly, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province agreed to organize 11 fireworks display locations (2 high-altitude locations and 9 low-altitude locations) in the province on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The firing duration is 15 minutes, from 00:00 on January 28, 2025 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025.
In Ha Long, there will be high-altitude fireworks at 30.10 Square, Hong Hai Ward. In Cam Pha City, there will be a fireworks display at 12.11 Square, Cam Tay Ward.
Other fireworks display locations are as follows: Park Lake in Thanh Son and Quang Trung wards, Uong Bi city; Central square of Dong Trieu city; underground bridge of Tien Yen town, Tien Yen district; Ha Quang Voc monument area, Dam Ha town, Dam Ha district; Ao Tien international port, Ha Long commune, Van Don district; landscape area along Ha Coi river, Hai Ha district; 25.12 square, Binh Lieu town, Binh Lieu district.
Mong Cai City alone has 2 fireworks display locations. Of which, a low-altitude fireworks display location at the Bac Luan II Border Gate Area from 23:00 to 23:15 on January 28, 2025 and a high-altitude fireworks display location at the Mong Cai City Cultural and Communications Center Square from 00:00 on January 28, 2025 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025.
Three localities, including Quang Yen, Co To, and Ba Che, will not organize fireworks displays.
The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to prepare the necessary conditions to organize fireworks displays in the locality according to regulations and ensure absolute safety. The funding for organizing fireworks displays is mobilized from socialized sources, not using the state budget, mobilized by districts, towns and cities to implement.
At the same time, the Provincial Military Command is requested to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, the Provincial Police and related units to organize and carry out fireworks displays in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 of the Government on the management and use of fireworks, ensuring security, order and absolute safety.
