Vinh Phuc Provincial Police are urgently investigating the cause of the particularly serious traffic accident in Tam Dao.
On April 26, immediately after receiving information about the overturned passenger bus, Central Party Committee member, Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong and Colonel Than Van Hai - Director of the Provincial Police arrived at the scene, directing the authorities to synchronously deploy rescue measures and support the victims.

Viet Duc Friendship Hospital also sent an out-of-hospital emergency team with leading experts in anesthesia - resuscitation, injury, digestion, and specialized equipment to support emergency care and care for victims.
At Vinh Phuc General Hospital, doctors at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital directly participated in interdisciplinary consultations, clinical examinations, quick assessment of the extent of damage and prescribed appropriate emergency treatment options for each case.

In bed, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (residing in Thanh Mien, Hai Duong) was still devastated after the accident. She said that the company's employees and their relatives were returning to Hanoi from Tam Dao.
"The convoy of vehicles departed from Thanh Mien on the afternoon of April 25, and the next morning they started from Tam Dao. We were on our way to Hanoi to continue going out after a trip to Vinh Phuc when we suddenly had an accident, said Ms. Hue.

Some other patients said that, during the downhill process, when the passenger car entered the bend, the driver kicked the brake, the car was stuck. The first two jams, the car only tilted, to the 3rd jam, the car was overturned and turned 3 times. Fortunately, the car crashed into Lan, otherwise everyone would have fallen into the abyss.
Up to now, the accident has killed 3 people and injured 14 others. The authorities determined the initial cause was due to the passenger bus's brake failure. Initially, it was determined that there were 17 people on the passenger bus, including the driver. The remaining 16 passengers were all in Thanh Mien, Hai Duong.
Previously, Vinh Phuc General Hospital received 14 victims, of which 1 died. Of the 13 injured, 4 cases have been transferred to lower-level hospitals, 2 seriously injured people are being treated at the hospital, one victim is in critical condition, with a very poor prognosis.
The remaining people have basically stabilized their health, mainly with external injuries and injuries, and are not in danger of death, and have asked to be discharged from the hospital.
