On August 30, Comrade Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics - came to award Party Badges for the 2nd batch of September 2026 to 2 80-year-old Party members in Vinh Long province.
Participating in the working delegation were comrade Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province; comrade Lam Minh Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and advisory and assisting agencies of the Provincial Party Committee.
The two party members awarded badges are comrade Huynh Long Toa of Cau Ngang Commune Party Committee and comrade Pham Thanh Noi - former Provincial Party Committee member, former Vice Chairman of Cuu Long Provincial People's Committee, currently residing in Hoa Thuan ward.
Comrade Huynh Long Toa was born on January 1, 1929, from Hiep My commune, Vinh Long province, was admitted to the Party on June 10, 1948, officially on December 10, 1948. Currently, he is active at the No Cong hamlet Party Cell, under the Cau Ngang Commune Party Committee.
During his work, comrade Huynh Long Toa used to be a teacher at Hiep My Heart School, then held the positions of Secretary of the Commune Military Command, Company Commander, Battalion Commander, Deputy Team Leader and Deputy Director of Hau Giang Provincial Department of Justice.
Comrade Pham Thanh Noi was admitted to the Party in March 1948. He used to hold many positions, from Children's Committee of Hiep My commune, Secretary of the District Youth Union to Head of the Economic Committee, Head of the Agriculture Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cuu Long province.
Through many positions, the 2 comrades always upheld the spirit of responsibility, dedication to assigned tasks, and made many contributions to the revolutionary cause, building and protecting the Fatherland.
At the 2 badge awarding ceremonies held at his private residence, Comrade Doan Minh Huan affirmed that the 80-year Party Badge is a noble award, recognizing the process of striving, training, loyalty to the Party and the contributions of the 2 comrades.
Comrade Doan Minh Huan wished the 2 party members good health and continued to be bright examples and spiritual support for their children and younger generations to follow. At the same time, he requested the Party committees and local authorities to continue to take care of life, visit and encourage senior party members; promote the experience and intelligence of the previous generation and educate traditions and foster revolutionary ideals for the younger generation.
