On the evening of February 22, Vinasarcom of Binh Dinh province said that ships operating at sea are continuing to search for the two missing fishermen.
The two missing fishermen are Mr. Le Thanh Tien (born in 1989, residing in Phu My district) - a worker on fishing boat BD 94563 TS and Mr. Vo Van Tin (born in 1974, residing in Hoai Nhon town) - a worker on fishing boat BD 97731 TS.
According to initial information, at around 3:00 a.m. on February 21, fishing boat BD 94563 TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Xuan (residing in Phu My district), and 23 crew members were fishing at sea.
When the ship was operating in the sea about 172 nautical miles southwest of Con Dao (in Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Mr. Tien unfortunately fell into the sea and went missing. Currently, fishing vessels BD 94563 TS, BD 94017 TS and BD 97107 TS are actively searching for Mr. Tien.
Previously, at around 11:45 p.m. on February 20, fishing boat BD 97731 TS, captained by Mr. Le Van them (residing in Hoai Nhon town), and 4 fishermen fishing for ocean tuna at sea.
While the ship was operating in the sea about 90 nautical miles northwest of Song Tu Tay Island (Khanh Hoa), Mr. Vo Van Tin fell into the sea and went missing. Currently, fishing boat BD 97731 TS is still searching for Mr. Tin.
