According to initial information, the accident occurred at 12:55 p.m. the same day at km21+300 National Highway 19 (through An Nhon Nam Ward).
At that time, a truck with license plate 50H-026.06 driven by driver Nguyen Van Thien (born in 1983, residing in Van Canh commune, Gia Lai province) collided with a car with license plate 51C-066.52 driven by Mr. Pham Dinh D (born in 1970, residing in Quang Ngai province).
The strong collision caused Mr. D to be trapped in the cabin, with both legs broken and a head injury. Although he was taken to Gia Lai Central General Hospital for emergency treatment, Mr. D died. Driver Thien was also injured.
At the scene, both trucks were severely damaged at the front, in which the truck driven by Mr. D was crushed.
