Gia Lai - Nearly 50 workers have filed a lawsuit against Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited after many months of unpaid wages and social insurance.

On August 25, Lao Dong news source reported that up to now, nearly 50 workers have filed a lawsuit against Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited (headquartered at No. 30 Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon Nam Ward, Gia Lai) with Mr. Nguyen Van An (born in 1971) as Director.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ai (born in 1991, residing in An Nhon Nam ward) - Head of the Inspection Team of Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited - confirmed: "I have come to the People's Court of Region 2 - Gia Lai (headquartered in Tuy Phuoc commune) to file a lawsuit against the company's unpaid wages and social insurance benefits for many months."

According to Ms. Ai, the couple has 4 children, of which 3 are about to enter the new school year. The fact that they have been owed wages for many months has exhausted the family's economy, forcing them to run around everywhere to take care of their children's meals and school fees. The company also did not pay or close the social insurance book, making it difficult for her to find a new job.

"What I hope for most is to soon receive the sweat money to cover my family's expenses," Ms. Ai said.

On the same day, the reporter continued to contact Mr. Nguyen Van An - Director of Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited - to ask about the settlement of wages and benefits for workers. However, Mr. An still repeated the previous answer that he was busy working with the police agency so it was not convenient to answer.

As Lao Dong has reported, in recent months, more than 100 workers at Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited, along with a number of households, have received product contracts and enterprises that are in difficulty because the company owes wages, social insurance, and processing fees for orders up to more than 7 billion VND, and have suddenly stopped production since July 31.

Too upset, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hanh - Director of Tan Dat General Service Trading Company Limited (Tuy Phuoc Commune, Gia Lai) - submitted a report to the police about Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited still owing 6 months in processing money.

According to Ms. Hanh, from November 2024 to April 2025, this company abused the trust and appropriated the processing money of her enterprise with an amount of more than 2.3 billion VND.

Ms. Hanh requested the police to verify and prosecute the criminal case to investigate, prosecute, and try Mr. Nguyen Van An for fraud and appropriation of property, and at the same time force Mr. An to return wages to the workers.

A representative of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor informed that according to initial statistics, Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited owes 130 employees wages, with an amount of more than 2.3 billion VND; owes households more than 2.5 billion VND in processing allowances and owes Tan Dat General Trading and Service Company Limited more than 2.3 billion VND. The total debt is more than 7.1 billion VND.

Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited has deducted the employee's insurance payment but did not pay it to the Social Insurance agency, causing the employee to quit his job and not receive unemployment insurance; the health insurance card is locked, and the medical examination and treatment costs are not paid. The company also did not pay the Union fund, did not sign labor contracts with more than 100 workers and has not paid salaries since April 2025.
