On the afternoon of February 24, the leader of Phu My district (Binh Dinh) informed that the authorities are clarifying the cause of the accident caused by electric shock that killed a student.
Previously, at 5:30 p.m., at the Trung Binh village cultural house (My Chanh Tay commune), a group of students organized a volleyball match. On the field, students: L.T.P, N.H.K, T.Q.H (grade 9 students, residing in My Chanh Tay commune) participated in the game.
At this time, the volleyball ball flew out onto the field, so the three students L.T.P, N.H.K, T.Q.H walked to the fence, climbed over the B40 net fence surrounding the village cultural house to pick up the ball.
When the students had just touched the B40 fence, all 3 were electrocuted on the spot. Many people nearby quickly rescued him.
However, the strong electrical gust caused L.T.P to be seriously injured and died later at Phu My District Medical Center, and N.H.K and T.Q.H were injured and transferred to the medical center for treatment.
Binh Dinh Provincial Police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident.
