In recent days, a large-scale campaign has taken place in Phu Tho, Khanh Hoi, Ban Co wards (HCMC). The Police force has implemented the "3 in 1" model, directly going to each household to listen, propagate and support technology.
From "knocking on doors" to strengthened trust
Unlike the concentrated propaganda sessions in the hall, this deployment, the police officers were divided into small groups, weaving into each alley.
During the campaign, the Task Force focused on the following contents: Listening to and receiving opinions and reflections from people on the security and order situation in the neighborhood, promptly resolving problems arising right from the grassroots level; Propagating and disseminating legal regulations, warning about the methods and tricks of criminals and social evils; Supporting and guiding people to install and use the "SOS Security and Order" application - a useful tool to help people send crime reports and request urgent support to the Police agency quickly and conveniently.
The Ward Police force directly went to each household to propagate, guide, and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, contributing to building a beautiful image of the Police soldier "Serving the People".
In Phu Tho ward, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien (65 years old) was moved when young officials came to visit her house. She said that the fact that the police force directly goes to the grassroots level helps people feel closer and easier to share; and at the same time raises vigilance against phone scams.
Listening directly at the grassroots level helps functional forces promptly grasp emerging issues right from the start, thereby having a definitive solution plan to maintain peace for the residential area.
One Touch Connection" - The extended arm of digital security
In parallel with listening, the focus of the campaign is to guide people to install the "SOS Security, Order" application.
In Ban Co ward, this is considered a breakthrough solution in the digital age, helping to shorten the distance between people and functional forces. Mr. Tran Hoang Nam (Ban Co ward) said that after being supported to install the SOS application, he feels more secure when working late at night. With just one touch, people can send an emergency signal with the location to the Police, instead of calling as before, which is more convenient and effective.
In Khanh Hoi ward, the Task Force also implemented the combination of activating level 2 identification for people in 32 neighborhoods. This is the highest level of identification, verified by biometrics matching the National Population Database, helping people conveniently in all administrative transactions later.
Building a security fortress from the hearts of the people
The active participation of the people is a vital factor to help the "3-in-1" model be effective. Not only beneficiaries, each citizen has now become a "magic eye" of security.
Mr. Vuong Dinh Tien - a retired official in Khanh Hoi ward - said that the police going to the area to guide level 2 identification and install the SOS application is very practical. Direct support helps people, especially the elderly, to easily access; and at the same time raises awareness of proactively reporting information, together with functional forces to maintain security. The activities contribute to clarifying the image of the police soldier "Serving the people". The application of technology and innovation in working methods not only creates positive changes, but also strengthens the bond between the police and the people.
