On August 9, according to information from the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, after starting construction on July 10, three roads connecting Long Thanh airport (roads 769, 773 and 770B) are being mobilized by contractors with machinery and equipment to build camps, operating houses and clear ground, and construct roadbeds.
As of the end of July 2026, at the road 770B construction project, the unit has received and handed over more than 131ha of land, reaching about 49% of the total land area; the project to upgrade and expand road 773, the handed over land is nearly 70ha, reaching more than 31% of the total area; the project to upgrade and expand road 769, the handed over land is more than 56ha, reaching more than 41% of the total area.
Previously, on July 10, Dong Nai city simultaneously organized the commencement of projects to build road 770B and upgrade and expand roads 769, 773. These are roads that play a role in connecting localities in the city to Long Thanh airport.
The project to upgrade and expand road 769 is nearly 30 km long, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay ward, Dong Nai city; ending point intersecting with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai city. The project has a total land acquisition area of about 135.5 ha in 3 communes and wards including: Dau Giay, Binh An and Long Thanh.
The project to build road 770B is more than 42km long, with the starting point intersecting with DT 763 road (Xuan Bac commune) and the ending point intersecting with National Highway 51 (in Phuoc Thai commune). The project has a total land area recovered of more than 370 ha with a total length of the road of more than 42km passing through 9 communes and wards including: Xuan Bac, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Binh Loc, Xuan Lap.
The project to upgrade and expand route 773 has a total length of nearly 40km, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), ending point to Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ring Road 4 HCMC, shortening travel time from Dong Nai communes and wards as well as the Central Highlands and South Central region provinces to Long Thanh airport. The project has a total recovered land area of more than 300 hectares.
