On December 13, Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal reported that Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee decided to issue a list of establishments recognized by the Green Book in Binh Duong province in 2024.
The Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to be responsible for compiling the Binh Duong Provincial Green Book in 2024 and organizing propaganda and wide dissemination.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the province has planned to evaluate businesses and build the Green Book from March 2024.
The assessment subjects are production, business and service establishments operating in Binh Duong province.
To be included in the Green Book assessment list, the facility must fully meet all conditions such as having a decision approving the results of the environmental impact assessment report/environmental license/environmental registration...; or having a detailed environmental protection plan and a document confirming the environmental protection plan. The environmental standard registration, environmental protection commitment, and environmental protection plan have been issued by a competent state agency.
In addition, during its operation, the facility has not been subject to administrative sanctions in the field of environmental protection or water resources, or has not received any complaints from the community regarding environmental protection work in the last 2 years.
The establishments listed in the Green Book have a total score of 100 points or more and comply well with other legal regulations such as tax, social insurance, trade unions, labor...
