After 4 days of deployment, Can Tho City Police mobilized nearly 800 officers and soldiers to set up 174 inspection teams, detecting more than 300 cases of alcohol concentration violations, fined more than 1.5 billion VND, temporarily detained 309 vehicles, revoked 76 driving licenses and deducted points from 231 cases, mainly violations occurring from 6pm to 24am.


Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tan Ben - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (Can Tho City Police) said that one of the new points of this campaign is the organization of unlimited patrols and controls of space and time, mobilizing all forces such as Mobile Police, Administrative Police for Social Order and other forces.
In particular, the Commune and Ward Police coordinated with the Traffic Police to conduct inspections on all routes, vigorously implementing measures to promptly detect and handle violations, contributing to reducing traffic accidents on all three criteria.

In parallel with the inspection work, Can Tho City Police continue to diversify forms and propaganda content related to the field of traffic order and safety to help people access more effectively, raise awareness of compliance with traffic safety laws in the community, ensure compliance with the content of the National Strategy to ensure road traffic order and safety for the period 2021-2030 and the Prime Minister's vision to 2045.

According to Can Tho City Police, with the spirit of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions", immediately after the launching ceremony, the unit mobilized forces to closely coordinate with the Traffic Police force to organize patrols and controls on the routes, promptly detect and strictly handle cases of alcohol concentration violations in the city.
