Initial information, the first incident occurred at around 2:48 p.m. on August 9, in front of house number 134 Tran Thanh Ngo (Hai Phong City). The motorbike driven by Mr. D.D.N (born in 2015, residing in Kien An, Hai Phong) was traveling from the book-shaped intersection to Kien An 5-way intersection when it collided with a motorbike driven by P.Q.V (born in 2007, residing in Kien Thuy commune, Hai Phong) in the opposite direction. As a result, Mr. N died on the spot, Mr. V was injured. The preliminary cause was that the driver avoided overtaking and did not ensure safety.
At 6:30 p.m. the same day, another accident occurred at km 85 of National Highway 5 through Hong An Ward. A motorbike driven by Mr. N.H.A.Q from Hai Phong to Hanoi, carrying Ms. N.T.Q.A (both born in 2008, residing in Hong An ward) collided with a motorbike driven by Ms. N.T.N (born in 1981, residing in An Duong ward) in the same direction. As a result, Ms. N and Q were injured, and at 11:30 p.m. the same day, Ms. N died at the hospital.
Also on August 9, in Viet Khe commune, there were 2 accidents that killed 2 people. At about 9:45 p.m. on August 9, on the inter-village road in Phu Luu 2 village, Mr. T.V.T (born in 1989, residing in Lai Xuan 2, Viet Khe commune) was driving a motorbike in the direction of TL352 to Dinh ferry when he collided with 3 other motorbikes. As a result, Mr. T died on the way to the emergency room. The area where the accident occurred was densely populated, with lighting systems but had not been operated for a long time.
At 9:50 p.m., on the inter-village road in Ky Son 4 village, Mr. B.V.T (born in 1981, residing in Ky Son 8 village) was driving a motorbike and crashed into the right wall of a house in his direction. As a result, Mr. T died on the spot. The preliminary cause was that Mr. T did not control his speed and caused an accident.
