Government Inspectorate responds to recommendations on 5 wind power projects in Gia Lai

The Government Inspectorate has just responded to voters' recommendations related to 5 wind power projects.

The Government Inspectorate has just issued a Report on the results of handling and responding to voters' recommendations sent before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

In particular, voters of Gia Lai province requested the Government Inspectorate to promptly respond to Report No. 18/BC-UBND dated February 4, 2025 of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee so that projects can continue to complete related procedures to soon put wind power projects into commercial operation to generate electricity, avoiding wasting invested resources for 5 wind power projects:

Cho Long Wind Power Plant Project; Yang Trung Wind Power Plant Project; Ia Pech Wind Power Plant Project; Nui Fertilizer Wind Power Plant Project; Che Bien Tay Nguyen Wind Power Plant Project.

Responding to this issue, the Government Inspectorate said that according to the report of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 18/BC-UBND dated February 4, 2025 and Document No. 1453/BC-UBND dated May 28, 2025 on supplementing the results of overcoming recommendations related to wind power projects according to Inspection Conclusion No. 263/KL-TTCP dated July 19, 2024 of the Government Inspectorate, violations of 5 wind power projects (Mountainout Development Wind Power Plant Project; Che Bien Tay Nguyen Wind Power Plant Project; Hung Hai Gia Lai Wind Power Plant Project; Cho Long Wind Power Plant Project; Yang Trung Wind Power Plant Project) related to procedures for planning, land, construction, construction, and use of foreign workers without permission from the competent authorities and the province to overcome the situation.

Through monitoring the above Inspection Conclusion, the Government Inspectorate found that in addition to the content of recommending the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to overcome violations in implementing wind power projects stated in the Inspection Conclusion and Inspection Conclusion, there is also the content of recommending information transfer to the Ministry of Public Security for consideration and handling stated in Clause 7, Section II, Part C of the Inspection Conclusion (including the above 05 wind power projects).

The handling and completion of procedures related to 5 wind power projects is under the authority of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and must have the opinion of the Ministry of Public Security regarding the implementation of the recommendations stated in the Inspection Conclusion.

The People's Committee of Gia Lai province continues to completely implement the conclusions and recommendations in Inspection Conclusion No. 263/KL-TTCP dated July 19, 2024 of the Government Inspectorate and the direction of the Prime Minister in Document No. 6490/VPCP-V.I dated September 11, 2024 of the Government Office; have a report on the implementation results sent to the Prime Minister, and at the same time send it to the Government Inspectorate in accordance with the provisions of the law on inspection.
