Mr. Ta Cong Dung - Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province has just sent a document to the Organization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, departments, branches, units under the Provincial People's Committee and related organizations, requesting to review and report the list of cadres, civil servants, and employees who are subject to repayment of support funds according to Resolution No. 23/2025/NQ-HDND dated June 24, 2025.
According to Resolution No. 23/2025/NQ-HĐND of the Kon Tum Provincial People's Council (old), cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Kon Tum province coming to work at the Quang Ngai Provincial Political - Administrative Center (new) in the period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 will receive a one-time support of 25 million VND/person.
In case of resignation before June 30, 2026, the received funds must be returned to the state budget, except for cases due to objective or force majeure reasons.
According to statistics, there are 1,630 officials, civil servants and employees eligible for support with a total budget of 36.8 billion VND. However, after the province's merger process, many cases have been transferred, quit their jobs, retired from regimes or unilaterally terminated contracts, leading to the arising obligation to repay expenses according to regulations.
Through summarizing from agencies and units, the Department of Home Affairs determined that 416 people are subject to reimbursement in the third and fourth quarters of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.
Although functional units have repeatedly urged, there are still many cases that have not returned the support money after resigning or transferring jobs.
