On the afternoon of November 22, Mr. Le Van Khoa - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Health said that a group of 50 doctors and nurses from Ho Chi Minh City had coordinated with the local health sector to deploy medical examination and treatment in areas heavily affected by floods.
Currently, floodwaters on rivers in Khanh Hoa have receded, people have begun to return home to clean up and overcome the consequences. This is also the time when many potential health risks such as epidemics, shortages of medicine and essential health care needs arise.

As soon as the doctors and nurses arrived in Khanh Hoa, the Department of Health coordinated forces to increase to the West of Nha Trang, Dien Khanh, Khanh Vinh... to support medical examination, medicine supply, and health monitoring for people.
During his time working in Khanh Hoa, the Ho Chi Minh City health sector supported 1,000 bags of household medicine to distribute immediately to people in flooded areas.
It is expected that in the coming days, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to provide about 10,000 bags of family medicine to serve urgent needs after natural disasters.
Khanh Hoa Department of Health Director Le Van Khoa highly appreciated this timely support. He said that the increased medical force from Ho Chi Minh City has helped people in flooded areas access medical services as quickly as possible, contributing to stabilizing public health.
