Gia Lai - The distribution of rice immediately after the flood recedes to provide timely support, not leaving anyone hungry or thirsty due to natural disasters.

On November 22, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province issued Decision 2673/QD-UBND on allocating 2,000 tons of rice from national reserves to localities to provide emergency support to people affected by floods.

In addition, the province supports poor households, near-poor households, and households in especially difficult circumstances whose houses are flooded with a level of 2 million VND/household/month, with a support period of 3 months.

The provincial government also supported households whose houses were completely collapsed, whose roofs were completely blown off or whose roofs were damaged or blown off.

Currently, Gia Lai province continues to use local budget reserves and mobilize other legal resources to quickly implement measures to support people with food, provisions, necessities, and clean water. The Provincial People's Committee requires communes and wards to absolutely not let people lack housing, go hungry or thirst.

At the same time, the province organized visits and encouragement for families affected by floods and landslides, especially families with dead or injured people.

Gia Lai also focuses on mobilizing forces and resources to clean up the environment, prevent epidemics after floods; restore production and business activities immediately after the water recedes.
