Ho Chi Minh City supports 50 billion VND, 50 doctors help people in flooded areas of Khanh Hoa

Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee led the working delegation to visit and present support to Khanh Hoa province affected by floods.

On November 22, at the meeting, Ho Chi Minh City donated 50 billion VND to Khanh Hoa to serve the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

This is the amount of money that the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City have called for in the recent past. Along with financial resources, Ho Chi Minh City has mobilized 50 doctors to 5 crowded places to organize medical examination, treatment, and health care after floods.

Ho Chi Minh City also mobilized flying equipment to drop relief goods to isolated areas; deployed 60 volunteers to coordinate with the locality to set up rice cookers, supporting meals for people in flooded areas.

The leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee said that the city will continue to discuss with Khanh Hoa to have key forms of support, close to reality and implemented as quickly as possible.

This includes handling the environment after flooding, reinforcing schools, medical stations and other urgent items for people.
