Khanh Hoa - In the flood center, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the Central working delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the people.

On the morning of November 22, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu led a Central working group to inspect the flooded area in Dien Dien commune of Khanh Hoa province.

Accompanying the working delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Dien Dien commune is one of the areas heavily affected by prolonged floods in Khanh Hoa. Currently, there are no full statistics, however, thousands of houses of people, crops and properties have been deeply submerged in floodwater.

In the face of rising flood waters, in recent days, the Khanh Hoa provincial government has used the primary school in Dien Dien commune as a shelter for hundreds of local people.

Visiting the primary school area in Dien Dien commune, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu kindly asked about the health of the people, especially the elderly and children.

The Standing Committee of the Secretariat pays special attention to the living conditions and food in the primary school area.

Mr. Tran Van Thanh - in Dong 2 village, Dien Dien commune said that the local government has proactively brought people in deeply flooded areas to safety. At schools alone, people are supported with pillows and necessary necessities.
