Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document directing departments, branches, sectors and localities to urgently implement the payment of policies and regimes for people on leave according to Decree No. 178/2024 of the Government
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned heads of departments, branches, sectors, agencies and units under the province; Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to quickly study and organize the implementation of policies and regimes for people on leave.
During the implementation process, if difficulties or problems arise, units must promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Home Affairs) for consideration and direction.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Department of Finance to guide, urge, inspect and summarize the implementation situation; at the same time, advise the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to handle problems, propose solutions for contents beyond its authority, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
Previously, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a document to ministries, branches and localities on accelerating the payment of regimes and policies according to Decree 178. According to the report, there are currently 32,984 people nationwide who have not received the regime, of which Lam Dong province has 929 people.
The Prime Minister requested heads of ministries, departments, branches and localities to focus on directing strongly, ensuring the completion of the payment of policies before October 15, and at the same time report the implementation results to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.
