In this phase, Detention Center No. 1 - City Police has 97 prisoners who are eligible for a reduction in prison term. These prisoners have had a positive reform attitude and a spirit of effort and striving in the process of serving their sentences, which was recognized by the Hai Phong City Sentence Reduction Council.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Hung, Warden of Detention Center No. 1 of the City Police, congratulated 97 prisoners on having their prison sentences reduced in this phase and expressed his wish that when they return to their families, they will soon integrate into the community, have stable jobs, and not re-offend. Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Hung also emphasized that this result reflects the lenient policy of our Party and State towards offenders as well as recognizes the achievements in the education work of prison officers. At the same time, he requested prisoners who have not been reduced sentences to strictly comply with the internal regulations and rules of detention, actively work and reform to soon enjoy the lenient policy of the Party and State, return to the community and become useful people contributing to society.
