The main artery is seriously degraded
Hoai Thanh route is located right in the center of B'Lao ward (Lam Dong) with a length of more than 1.5 km. This is a main road with more than 600 households in residential groups 4 and 5 Loc Son regularly traveling.
Every day, on this route, there are many people from neighboring localities who regularly transport goods, agricultural products, and fertilizers to production areas.

Actual research shows that this road was built and put into use in 2008; the road surface is about 6m wide and paved with asphalt.
From 2021 to now, due to the high traffic volume, the road surface has quickly peeled and cracked.
After many years of deterioration, this road is in a state of disrepair, with many potholes. Even many deep holes grow densely like fish ponds in the middle of the road.

People are miserable
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, a resident living along Hoai Thanh Street, said that this road has been degraded for many years and the damage is now getting worse.
Due to the high traffic density, in the dry season, dust flies everywhere, while in the rainy season, the road surface is bumpy and stagnant, causing slippery conditions and accidents. Many motorcyclists have dropped their belongings, collapsed holes and fallen, fortunately there were no human casualties.

Mr. Ha Van Luan, another household, reflected that the damaged and degraded road not only causes traffic insecurity but also directly affects the lives of more than 600 households in the area.
In particular, students going to school every day face many risks, some sections of the motorbike have to cross a deep hole, which is very dangerous.
Mr. Le Tuan Da expressed concern: "The road is seriously damaged, so there are many cases of people riding motorbikes, especially students on electric bicycles, falling. If this situation continues, the risk of traffic accidents is very high, extremely dangerous".
"People hope the government will soon pay attention and invest in upgrading to ensure safe travel and stabilize their lives" - Mr. Da shared.

According to local people, over the years, people have continuously petitioned authorities at all levels to soon invest in upgrading.
They are willing to donate land and architectural objects to build roads if there is a policy. However, the road has not been repaired yet, and the road surface is increasingly being dug up.

Mr. Hoang Bao Nguyen, Chairman of the People's Committee of B'Lao Ward, said that Hoai Thanh is a main axis road that plays an important role in the local transport network.
Faced with the serious damage and deterioration of the road, the ward has proposed that Bao Loc Urban Construction Joint Stock Company temporarily repair it to ensure safety for people traveling.
However, up to now, the road has not been patched or repaired, making it very difficult and dangerous for people to travel.
In the long term, the People's Committee of the ward has included this project in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026 - 2030 for upgrading and expanding. Because this is an urgent traffic project, the locality has proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to allocate capital for implementation in 2026.
The locality hopes that the superiors will soon have a policy to invest and upgrade the road to create conditions for people to travel safely, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the ward.
According to the leader of B'Lao ward, the locality is currently considering balancing funding sources to patch the road, creating conditions for people to travel conveniently and safely.
