The image of the People's Public Security soldier has been and is having a strong change in people's awareness, especially in Can Tho City.
Overcoming the limits of law enforcement, the City Police force has been building a beautiful, close and humane image through practical and humane actions. These actions not only contribute to ensuring security and order (ANTT), but also further strengthen the people's trust in the armed forces.

In order to show gratitude and support cadres, soldiers, and youth union members with difficult housing circumstances, recently, the Can Tho Police Youth Union coordinated with functional units to organize the inauguration ceremony of the "8-19 House" Youth Project. The three houses were completed and handed over to Senior Lieutenant Dinh Cong Tan, Second Class Lieutenant Huynh Hong Ha and comrade Nguyen Hung Dung.
Holding the "key" of the new house in his hand, comrade Nguyen Hung Dung, Head of the Security and Order Protection Team in Binh Xuan Hamlet, Phong Dien Commune, could not hide his emotions.

Comrade Nguyen Hung Dung shared that he has been waiting for the day to have a solid home, no longer having to worry about leaking rain and sunshine. The new house is not only a place to shelter from the rain and sun, but also a great source of motivation for him to continue to contribute to the work of security and order in the locality.
That happiness was also evident on the face of Second Lieutenant Huynh Hong Ha, a conscripted soldier working at Detention Center No. 1. With an extremely difficult family background, having a solid roof was once a distant dream.
"Living in a new house is the biggest motivation for me to continue to strive and contribute my youth to the Fatherland, worthy of the attention of leaders at all levels," Second Lieutenant Huynh Hong Ha shared.

In addition to building houses, the City Police also regularly coordinate with units to organize programs to examine patients, provide free medicine and give gifts to people, especially policy families and families in difficult circumstances.
Mobile medical trips and dedicated medical examinations have brought health peace of mind to many people, contributing to reducing the burden of medical costs.

At the medical examination program in Hoa Luu commune, Lieutenant Colonel Le Ba Rang - Deputy Head of the Political Affairs Department, Can Tho City Police emphasized that this activity clearly demonstrates the spirit of "Serving the people" and the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".
Lieutenant Colonel Le Ba Rang affirmed that in addition to the task of maintaining security and order, the City Police always focus on taking care of people's lives and actively participating in social security activities.

Ms. Le Thi My Tien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Hoa Luu commune highly appreciated this gesture.
Studying medical examination and medicine distribution is of practical significance, contributing to health care for the people, especially poor households and the elderly. This is not only a health support, but also a meaningful spiritual gift, adding confidence and motivation for people to rise up in life, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee stated.
These small but meaningful actions have contributed to eliminating the gap, building an image of Can Tho Police as a friendly, close and solid support for the people. The consensus and support of the masses is an important foundation for the police force to excellently fulfill their tasks, bringing a peaceful and happy life to every citizen in the city.
