On the morning of August 16, at Song Hau Park, Can Tho City Police successfully organized the walking program "Marching forward with Vietnam" - a meaningful activity in a series of events in response and spreading the message "3 billion steps forward to welcome the new era". The program attracted more than 6,000 officers, soldiers and people in the city to participate.

This is a large-scale and meaningful community activity jointly organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security. In particular, the event took place at a time when the whole country was entering a new, aspirational stage of development.
For the first time, a flag-raising and walking activity was held simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities, along with 3,321 communes, wards and towns nationwide. In Can Tho alone, the Police of 103 commune and ward-level units also simultaneously coordinated to organize the launching ceremony, creating a large-scale event, demonstrating the spirit of strong solidarity.

The program is not just a simple physical activity but also has many profound meanings. Along with patriotism and national pride, each step of the participants also contributes to the goal of reducing carbon emissions, towards the national Net Zero goal.
This activity is a journey of millions of hearts in harmony, converging many generations and all classes of people, from urban to rural areas. Each locality and each individual contributes a part of their strength to a great goal: building a united, strong Vietnam, ready to step into a new era - the era of aspiration and sustainable development.

The walking program "Marching forward with Vietnam" is a collective action of great political and social significance. This event demonstrates the determination of the entire nation in overcoming all difficulties together, maintaining health, and strengthening the great national unity bloc. At the same time, this is also an affirmation of the will of the Vietnamese people in strongly integrating and confidently entering the new era.
