Three people in Ly Son Special Zone missing at sea

    Two men in Ly Son Special Zone used a basket to jump into the sea to save one person from committing suicide, but due to big waves, all three people went missing.

    On November 6, Ly Son Special Forces Border Guard Station said that at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. D.Q.C. (born in 1981, residing in Tay An Vinh village, Ly Son special zone) due to family conflicts, he went to the Ly Son port area (in Tay An Vinh village, Ly Son special zone) and jumped into the sea to commit suicide.

    After that, Mr. Le Van Sanh (born in 1988, residing in Tay An Hai village) and Mr. Phan Duy Quang (born in 1978, residing in Tay An Vinh village, Ly Son Special Zone) used a basket to rescue and salvaged Mr. D.Q.C.

    However, due to big waves and strong winds, all three people could not row the basket to shore. Immediately afterwards, the authorities in Ly Son special zone mobilized the Thanh Tam ship (VT0035) captained by Mr. Dang Van Thanh (born in 1972) to organize the search and rescue.

    At 5:50 p.m., due to big waves and strong winds, the search was temporarily suspended. Currently, three people in the basket are drifting at sea.
