The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a decision on exempting and reducing the payment of the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund in 2025 for domestic and foreign economic organizations in Bac Ninh province.
The Decision clearly states and approves the exemption and reduction of payment of the 2025 Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund for 390 enterprises in the province, specifically as follows:
- Exemption from Fund contribution: 164 enterprises;
- Reduced Fund contribution: 226 enterprises.
The total amount of exemptions and reductions is: 9,634,654,000 VND.
Reasons for exemption or reduction of fund payment: Enterprises are eligible for preferential exemption or reduction of corporate income tax in 2024 (There is a specific list attached).
Article 4 of the Law on Corporate Income Tax No. 14/2008/QH12 (amended and supplemented in 2013) and guided by Circular 78/2014/TT-BTC (amended and supplemented by Circular 96/2015/TT-BTC), enterprises with income in some of the following cases are considered for corporate income tax exemption:
Income related to agriculture, Income from performing technical services directly serving agriculture, Income from performing scientific and technological research, Enterprises with 30% of employees are disabled, Income from vocational training activities exclusively for some subjects...
Previously, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province approved the Plan to collect the Bac Ninh Provincial Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund in 2025.
Accordingly, the plan to collect the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund in 2025 in Bac Ninh province with a total amount of more than 115.7 billion VND.
Also according to the approved plan, the Fund payment deadline: For domestic and foreign economic organizations: Pay at least 50% of the amount payable before July 31, 2025, the remaining amount must be paid before November 30, 2025.
For individuals: Submit once for the whole year, the deadline is before July 31, 2025.
The Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund is used to support natural disaster prevention and control activities and prioritize support for the following activities: Emergency relief on food, drinking water, medicine and other urgent needs for those affected by natural disasters; support for the repair of houses, medical facilities, schools; and environmental sanitation in disaster areas.
