Regarding the information circulating on social networks about the case of mistakenly building a house as a relative of the Deputy Director of the City Police, Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Police Do Van Diep affirmed that the above information was untrue, he had no involvement or family in this case.
According to the People's Committee of Thien Huong Ward, recently, in the ward, there was an incident where Mr. Do Van Huu and his wife, Ms. Vu Thi Tuyen, illegally built a house on a plot of land under the legal use rights of Mr. Nguyen Dang Ca and Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan (residing in An Hai Ward, Hai Phong).
Thien Huong Ward People's Committee held a meeting to resolve the incident. The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee affirmed the legal land use rights of Mr. Nguyen Dang Ca and Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan at plot No. 4856, map sheet No. 03, according to the Land Use Rights Certificate No. CN986 issued by the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen District (old) on October 19, 2024.
The first instance judgment No. 08/2025/DS-ST dated August 11, 2025 of the People's Court of Region 1 - Hai Phong City ordered Mr. Do Van Huu and Ms. Vu Thi Tuyen to dismantle the illegal construction and return the site to Ms. Loan's family. This is a decision that has come into legal effect, and the parties involved are obliged to enforce it.
The People's Committee of the ward requested Mr. Do Van Huu and Ms. Vu Thi Tuyen to strictly comply with the verdict; coordinate with the Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency to dismantle the construction and hand over the land to the legal owner. At the same time, the ward police were assigned to coordinate to ensure security and order in the process of handling the case, preventing acts of obstruction and resistance.
The Ward People's Committee assigned the Department of Land - Construction to monitor, advise, and promptly report to the City People's Committee and higher-level agencies if complicated situations arise. Along with that, it is recommended that mass organizations and residential groups increase propaganda and mobilization so that relevant parties strictly comply with the law, contributing to maintaining stability in the local situation.
The People's Committee of Thien Huong Ward affirmed that it will resolutely handle the case in the spirit of the rule of law, protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, and ensure the strictness of the law and the prestige of the grassroots government.
