According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, currently along Hai Tien beach (Hoang Tien commune, Thanh Hoa province) there is a situation of many tree roots and sharp bamboo trunks lying scattered, protruding onto the sand beach like "scum yards".

According to many local people, the above situation has appeared since storms occurred in 2025. Up to now, after a long time, many tree stumps and branches are deeply planted in the sandy beach and protrude like "scrap yards", posing a potential safety risk for tourists, especially when high tides flood this area.
Also according to records, in addition to branches and tree roots, there are also many different types of waste accumulated in this area.

Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leaders of Hoang Tien Commune People's Committee said that the cause of the above situation is due to the impact of storm No. 10 in 2025, which swept away a large amount of waste from offshore and river mouths ashore.
Due to the excessive amount of garbage, local authorities and organizations have continuously organized cleaning, especially before the tourist season. However, there are still many tree stumps buried deep under the sand, making it difficult to handle manually. In the near future, the locality will have to use mechanical vehicles to dig and pull all these tree stumps to ensure safety for tourists" - the representative informed.
