On April 18, Mr. Ho Van Nien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Quang Ngai province and Major General Luong Dinh Chung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 5 chaired the Conference to hand over the position of Political Commissar of the Military Command of Quang Ngai province.
Attending the conference were leaders of agencies under Military Region 5; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran The Phan - Commander of the Provincial Military Command and representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and branches of the province.

According to Decision No. 88 dated March 26, 2026 of the Ministry of National Defense, Colonel Vo Tan Tai - Political Commissar of Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Political Commissar of Gia Lai Provincial Military Command; Colonel Mai Kim Binh - Political Commissar of Gia Lai Provincial Military Command was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Political Commissar of Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command.
At the conference, Colonel Vo Tan Tai approved the minutes of handover of the position of Political Commissar of the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command to Colonel Mai Kim Binh according to regulations.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Van Nien acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Colonel Vo Tan Tai during his time as Political Commissar of the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command.
In all working positions, Colonel Vo Tan Tai always showed steadfast political bravery, high sense of responsibility, close to the grassroots level, and together with the Party Committee and commanders, led and directed the unit to successfully complete military and local defense tasks. Thereby making an important contribution to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development of the province.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Luong Dinh Chung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 5 affirmed that the transfer and appointment of cadres this time shows the concern and trust of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 5 for the contingent of leading cadres of units, in order to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Major General Luong Dinh Chung requested that, in their new positions, Colonel Vo Tan Tai and Colonel Mai Kim Binh continue to promote their qualities, capabilities, and experience; quickly grasp the local situation, maintain solidarity and unity among Party committees and commanders; proactively coordinate closely with local Party committees and authorities, and advise on the effective implementation of local defense and military tasks.
