On February 13, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026, the whole province will have 8 fireworks display locations.
Most recently, the locality issued a document agreeing to organize low-altitude fireworks displays during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 in Ninh Son commune.
In addition to the newly added shooting point in Ninh Son commune, the remaining 7 points include: April 2nd Square; Hon Tre island (Nha Trang ward); Quang Hoi fishing port (Van Thang commune); area near Cam Lam Commune Party Committee headquarters; area near Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee headquarters; area behind Nam Cam Ranh Commune Party Committee headquarters; April 16th Square area (Dong Hai ward).
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, People's Committees of communes and relevant agencies and units to develop and implement a plan to organize fireworks displays, ensuring safety, security and order, in accordance with regulations to serve the people.
The Provincial Police shall preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and relevant agencies and localities to develop plans and implement measures to ensure security and social order, fire prevention and fighting, and traffic diversion in the fireworks display area.
Many people expressed their excitement when the province organized fireworks displays at many locations on New Year's Eve.
