On February 11, the Department of Construction of Quang Tri province said that it had just announced a temporary traffic diversion plan to serve the organization of fireworks displays during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
At the fireworks display point of the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center (Nam Dong Ha ward), all vehicles are prohibited from circulating on the following routes: Hung Vuong street (section from Nguyen Trai to Hai Thuong Lan Ong), National Highway 9 (section from Le Loi to Nguyen Cong Tru), Nguyen Tri Phuong (section from Le Hong Phong to National Highway 9), Le Hong Phong (section from National Highway 9 to Ngo Quyen), Ngo Quyen (section from Le Hong Phong to the end of Hung Vuong intersection with Ngo Quyen). The prohibition time is from 11:45 PM on February 16, 2026 (December 29th of the lunar calendar) to 0:20 AM on February 17th, 2026 (January 1st of the lunar calendar).
At the Nhat Le bridge fireworks display point (Dong Hoi ward), vehicles passing through Nhat Le bridge and on the Nhat Le River are adjusted according to each time frame.
Specifically, from 1:30 PM on February 16, 2026 (December 29th of the lunar calendar) to 1:30 AM on February 17th, 2026 (January 1st of the lunar calendar), vehicles are restricted from circulating on the left lane of Nhat Le bridge to deploy firing positions.
In the time frame from 11:45 PM on February 16, 2026 to 0:20 AM on February 17, 2026, all vehicles are prohibited from passing through Nhat Le bridge; at the same time, waterway vehicles are prohibited from circulating and mooring within a radius of 200m from the bridge upstream and downstream.
The Department of Construction requests transport units, organizations, and individuals participating in traffic to strictly comply with the guidance on traffic diversion and regulation of functional forces to ensure security, fire and explosion prevention safety, and rescue and relief during the fireworks display.
