Hai Phong - Before the developments of storm No. 4 and the risk of landslides in the mountainous area of Phuc Thanh village, Nam An Phu commune, 2 households were mobilized to move to a safe place.

On August 23, according to Nam An Phu commune, Hai Phong city, in the face of the complicated developments of heavy rain, storm No. 4 and the risk of landslides in the mountainous area of Phuc Thanh village, the locality is urgently implementing response measures, prioritizing ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

Immediately after grasping the situation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the commune, together with departments, branches, unions and working groups, directly went to the area, to households at risk of being affected by landslides to propagate, mobilize, grasp the situation and guide people to proactively prevent.

Through mobilization, the Fatherland Front of the commune and the working group mobilized 2 households with 6 people in the Nga Trai area to move out of the landslide-prone area to a safe place. The relocation was carried out to minimize the risk of casualties when unusual situations occur.

Along with proactively responding to the risk of landslides, the commune police force also directly goes to aquaculture households on the river to propagate, mobilize, grasp the situation and guide people to proactively respond when the water level rises and the flow changes.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tuy - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Nam An Phu Commune People's Committee - directly went to the scene of the landslide in Phuc Thanh village to inspect, grasp the situation and direct forces to deploy response plans.

Leaders of Nam An Phu commune requested functional forces to regularly monitor and update the diễn biến of landslides, and proactively deploy plans to ensure safety for people.

At the same time, develop a plan to relocate households out of dangerous areas when bad situations occur, ensuring timely, flexible, proactive response, and not being passive or surprised.
