Initial information said that at around 9am the same day, at Nha Mat hamlet, Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city, a group of fishermen were fishing near the protective forest and discovered a crocodile.
Seeing that, the group of people surrounded and captured it. After more than 1 hour, the group of people surrounded and captured the crocodile and transported it from the seaport to the entrance of Huong Bien restaurant.
The group of people who caught the crocodile said that the fish weighed about 120kg. Currently, the crocodile was brought to Nha Mat Tourist Area, Nha Mat Hamlet, Nha Mat Ward, Bac Lieu City, waiting for the authorities of Bac Lieu Bird Sanctuary to make a record of the incident and temporarily keep the crocodile in captivity to hand it over to specialized units for handling according to the law.
