    In recent days, Hanoi has recorded poor air quality. At 8am this morning, many measuring points on the Air Visual monitoring system showed that air pollution was at the purple level - a level that is very harmful to health.

    Tay Ho District recorded many measuring points with high pollution index, such as the West Compoud Lake measuring point with AQI index of 267; To Ngoc Van measuring point, Tay Ho with AQI index of 264; Ciputra measuring point, Tay Ho with AQI index of 255; Quang Khanh measuring point, Tay Ho with AQI index of 243...

    Cu Khoi measuring point, Long Bien recorded AQI index also at purple threshold of 225; Le Duan, Hoan Kiem had AQI index of 215...

    Notably, the Air Visual application this morning ranked Hanoi as the third most polluted city in the world after Lahore (Pakistan) and Delhi (India).

    The Pam Air application also shows many places with red-threshold AIQ index - harmful to health such as Doi Can (Ba Dinh) AQI 197; Nguyen Che Nghia (Hoan Kiem) AQI 194; Chua Lang (Dong Da) AQI 179; Kim Ma (Ba Dinh) AQI 173...

    The AQI is an air quality index that ranges from 0-500, with higher numbers indicating higher levels of pollution and health impacts. Readings above 300 are considered unhealthy, while 0-50 indicate good air quality.
