On May 26, the People's Committee of Bao Lam district (Cao Bang province) informed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district had just organized a working group to visit, encourage and provide support to the family of a victim who was beaten by lightning in the area.
Previously, on the night of May 22, there was heavy rain with thunder in the district. Sung Thi Thia (born in 2009, residing in Thieng Na hamlet, Vinh Quang commune) was unfortunately hit by lightning, causing burns and severe dizziness.
Immediately after the incident, the family took Thia to Bao Lam District Medical Center for emergency care. Thanks to the timely care of the medical team and doctors, her health has basically stabilized, and she continues to be monitored and treated.
At the visit, representatives of the District Fatherland Front Committee kindly shared and encouraged the family, and at the same time gave the support of 3 million VND to help the family overcome difficulties, stabilize their spirit and life.
