On the evening of October 29, authorities and people found the body of a girl named N.T.D (born in 2021) who had fallen into the river behind her house in Phu Thinh quarter, Ham Thang ward, Lam Dong province.
Earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, while playing near the riverbank, D unfortunately slipped and fell into the water and went missing.
At the time of the incident, the river water rose high, flowing rapidly, and flooding the yard.
After receiving the news, the authorities and local people urgently organized a search.
At around 6:30 p.m., the child's body was found and pulled ashore.
Ham Thang ward authorities visited and expressed condolences to the victim's family.
