On the morning of May 27, Mr. Le Chi Quang Minh - Vice Chairman of Lang Biang Ward People's Committee - Da Lat said that functional forces and people are still making efforts to search for the missing girl swept away by floodwaters.

The victim was identified as P.T. T. N (13 years old), residing in Dang Gia Det B residential group, Lang Biang ward - Da Lat.
According to local leaders, nearly 4 days have passed since the incident occurred, hundreds of people from the police, army, militia, and grassroots security forces and people have coordinated to organize searches day and night but have not yet had results.

Searches are being carried out along the B'Nor B stream with a length of more than 4km in the direction of Dan Kia Lake.
Hundreds of people from many forces and a large number of people searched many areas with dense trees and bushes along the stream with the hope of finding the baby.

At locations with signs of landslides on the B'Nor B stream, functional forces also organized digging to serve the search work.
According to Lang Biang Ward People's Committee - Da Lat, the current water level of the stream has receded. However, at the time of the incident, heavy rain caused water from upstream to flow strongly, with a fast flow that caused danger.

The terrain along the stream line has many lush trees, many sections are difficult to access, so the search work faces many difficulties.
Meanwhile, in the Dan Kia lake area, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Lam Dong Provincial Police and militia are still on duty, using canoes and boats to organize searches.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported: At about 1:30 pm on May 24, N and 4 other young children were playing in the backyard next to the B'Nor B stream when they encountered heavy rain. Floodwaters from upstream suddenly poured in, causing the stream to rise and flow rapidly.
While the whole group was fleeing, child N unfortunately slipped and fell into the stream and was swept away by floodwaters and went missing.
Immediately after receiving the news, Lang Biang Ward People's Committee mobilized military forces, police and people to organize searches along the stream.
