It is known that immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Can Tho City Police immediately dispatched 4 specialized fire trucks along with command vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to coordinate with local militia and self-defense forces to quickly approach the scene.

According to records at the scene, until about 10:15 am, heavy smoke continued to rise fiercely.
At 10:20 am, the amount of smoke emitted became more and more, covering a corner of the road.

Witnessing the incident, Mr. Than Thanh Luan (Ninh Kieu ward, Can Tho city) shared that he was sitting drinking coffee near the intersection when he was startled to see smoke billowing up. At about 9:55 am, the area where he was sitting suddenly had a power outage.

It is possible that functional agencies proactively cut off the power to handle the fire, ensure safety and avoid the risk of short circuits and fire spreading to neighboring houses" - Mr. Luan shared.
Until about 10:30 am, functional forces continued to extinguish the fire, control the fire and investigate to clarify the cause of the incident and statistics of damage.
