On the morning of April 10, confirming with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Van Tuan - Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Vu Phuc ward (Hung Yen province) said that at about 5 am, two people exercising discovered a baby girl abandoned on a field road in Tan Minh residential group.
People then reported to the residential group, took them to the residential group hall for initial health care, changed clothes and then took them to the Ward Health Station for care.
Mr. Hoang Van Tuan said that the baby girl weighed about more than 3 kg and was in good health. She had no letters or any information left.

Currently, Vu Phuc Ward Health Station continues to take care of the baby, then will take him for a health check at Thai Binh Children's Hospital. After the health check, the Ward People's Committee will assign the Health Station to care for and nurture him during the process of finding information about the family.
Representatives of the Ward People's Committee added that in the morning, many people came to support money and clothes for the baby.
