Newborn baby girl in Khanh Hoa abandoned behind a temple

    On the morning of October 1, authorities in Ninh Hoa ward (Khanh Hoa province) are coordinating with medical teams to take care of an abandoned newborn baby girl.

    Previously, at around 2:20 a.m. the same day, Ninh Hoa Ward Police received a report about the discovery of a newborn baby girl abandoned behind a temple in Quang Dong Residential Group.

    At the time of discovery, the girl weighed about 3kg and was lying in a blue plastic basket.

    The authorities took the baby to a medical facility for examination and care; the baby's health is currently stable.

    Ninh Hoa Ward People's Committee is coordinating with relevant agencies to clarify the incident.

    At the same time, necessary procedures were carried out to care for and protect the child while finding relatives.
