HCMC - Due to violations in advertising related to high-tech blood filtration techniques, DNA International General Hospital Joint Stock Company was fined 45 million VND.

On March 18, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced the decision to sanction administrative violations against individuals and organizations with violations in the health sector.

DNA International General Hospital Joint Stock Company (Tran Hung Dao Street, Ward 5, District 5) was fined VND45 million for advertising special goods and services without the content being confirmed by the state agency before advertising according to regulations.

At the same time, the company is required to remove and delete advertising content that has not been confirmed by a competent state agency before implementation.

Previously, on March 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health established a re-examination team to verify the contents related to the advertising content of "high-tech blood filtration techniques to remove blood fat to reduce the risk of stroke", "high-tech blood clotting to prevent dangerous diseases to ensure healthy life" of DNA International General Hospital.

At the meeting on March 6, the leaders of this hospital admitted to the violation in the advertisement.

DNA International General Hospital was sanctioned by the Ministry of Health Inspectorate and the Department of Health Inspectorate for violating advertising related to blood filtration in 2022 and 2023.
