On November 11, Hanoi City Police held a Conference to summarize the work of ensuring security and order for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 in the capital, the organization of the program "Fest for the Peaceful Capital" and the peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes to protect important political events taking place in Hanoi.
Speaking at the Conference, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, affirmed that the success of these important activities not only clearly demonstrates the bravery, sense of responsibility, strength, prestige, and brand of the Capital Police, but also demonstrates the spirit of innovation, proactively converting the methods of operation to closely combine tradition and modernity, wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people".
The Minister emphasized that the results achieved not only contribute to maintaining a safe and absolute environment, but also affirm the prestige, position and brand of Hanoi Police - the leading force in the emulation movement "Three First: Most disciplined, Most Right, Most Near and Near".
General Luong Tam Quang believes that in the coming time, the Capital Police will continue to promote the heroic tradition, uphold the sense of responsibility, excellently complete the task of protecting the security and safety of the 14th National Party Congress and important political events of the country.
Speaking at the Conference, Politburo member - Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc assessed that this is the result of the professionalism and responsibility of the Vietnam People's Public Security force, in which the Hanoi Capital Police coordinated with other forces to create an impressive result.
Emphasizing the implementation of the development requirements of the capital Hanoi of General Secretary To Lam and the Resolution of the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee, the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee said that the city is implementing a synchronous, drastic, breakthrough and persistent action program.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has determined decentralization, delegation of authority, reform of administrative procedures, digital transformation to ensure the basis for implementing two strategic tasks: serving people, businesses and serving society.
Along with that, the city has a policy of creating development - having an economic structure to collect budget revenue, allocate people, organize implementation to ensure key tasks for socio-economic development in the city to reach 8% in 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that all of these issues have set a requirement for the Hanoi City Police in ensuring political security, social order and safety. The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee suggested that the City Police accompany all levels in carrying out key tasks at each time.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee also suggested that the City Police coordinate and accompany the implementation of 18 tasks that will be decentralized and delegated to the commune level by the city in the coming time.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc hopes that with the experience accumulated from the decentralization and delegation of power to the commune-level police force after not organizing the district-level police, the city police will advise the city leaders to gradually complete decentralization and delegation of power to the grassroots; not to let waste or negativity in the process of operating the 2-level local government apparatus in the area.
At the Conference, CATP awarded certificates of merit from the Minister of Public Security, the Hanoi Party Committee, and the Hanoi People's Committee to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in ensuring security and order for the A80 Anniversary, the organization of "Fest for the Peaceful Capital" and the Peak campaign to attack and suppress crime.
