The highlight of the program is a direct, open dialogue between Quang Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong and leaders of the Provincial People's Council, departments, and branches with typical students.
At the program, students asked many questions related to study, career orientation and development of the province. They expressed their pride at the milestone of Quang Ninh preparing to become a centrally-run city, and at the same time paid attention to the orientation of developing high-quality education, a modern learning environment, cultural development and improving the quality of human resources.
Answering these contents, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation - affirmed that Quang Ninh has fully met the criteria to become a centrally-run city.
However, this is not the destination but the beginning of a new stage of development, with higher requirements for growth quality, urban quality and people's quality of life. The province will continue to prioritize investment in education, health, and culture; improve training quality and better care for students' learning conditions.
Issues related to foreign language proficiency, public transport to serve students in remote, isolated, border, and island areas; forecasting human resource needs, connecting schools with businesses, internship opportunities, jobs; policies for pedagogical students, young medical personnel; protecting students from social environmental risks and strengthening heritage education were also discussed and answered by provincial leaders, departments, and sectors.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong praised the achievements of the Education and Training sector and students of Quang Ninh; affirming that the results achieved are an important foundation for the province to build high-quality human resources.
Sending expectations to the young generation, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that today's achievements are proud, but a prize or medal is not the destination. In the context of artificial intelligence and digital transformation strongly changing the way of learning, working and creating, students need to proactively equip themselves with foreign languages, technology, digital skills, independent and creative thinking; and at the same time cultivate bravery, discipline and responsibility.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Quang Ninh education continues to achieve many outstanding results. At the 2026 high school graduation exam, the average score of Quang Ninh students ranked 12th/34 provinces and cities nationwide. High-level education continues to improve quality, with 3,589 students winning prizes in provincial-level excellent student selection exams. At the national level, Quang Ninh has 82 excellent student prizes, including 2 first prizes, 16 second prizes, 35 third prizes and 29 consolation prizes, continuing to be in the group of 10 localities with the highest rate of students winning prizes in the country.
