Many houses, factories, cultural houses, schools had their roofs blown off and were flooded...
As of 8:30 a.m. on September 9, Luc Ngan district could not fully turn on the power because some electric poles had fallen and the flood water was too high to ensure safety. The Electricity Department continued to monitor, repair, and provide power to the people as soon as possible.
According to Mr. Cao Van Hoan - Standing Deputy Secretary of Luc Ngan District Party Committee, forces such as the Police and Army have supported isolated families in low-lying areas to move to safe places early.
However, many fruit growing areas in Luc Ngan were affected, such as apples, oranges, grapefruits, especially lychees, which were deeply submerged in water. The Department of Agriculture of Luc Ngan district will guide people to focus on taking care of crops and livestock after the flood.
Not only Luc Ngan, many places in Son Dong district, Bac Giang province were also isolated due to rising flood waters.
