Implementing the peak of the attack to suppress crime under the direction of the Kien Giang Border Guard Command, the units simultaneously launched the campaign and achieved many remarkable results.
Specifically, on June 14, Tho Chau Border Guard Station (Kien Giang Border Guard Command) said that the unit had just caught a fishing boat carrying about 26,000 liters of illegal DO oil.
At about 1:55 a.m. on June 14, in an area 21 nautical miles north of Tho Chau island commune, BP 20-19-01 ship, Tho Chau Border Guard Station, on patrol and control duty at sea, discovered a suspicious fishing boat. Through inspection, the vehicle KG-938xx-TS had 4 crew members, captained by Mr. Cao Thanh Tung (born in 1999), residing in An Bien district, Kien Giang province. The vehicle was carrying about 26,000 liters of light yellow liquid suspected to be DO oil.
At the time of inspection, the captain and crew members admitted that it was DO oil but could not present invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods. This amount of oil was floating from other ships to resell for profit.
Tho Chau Border Guard Station has escorted people and vehicles to Dam Bay Port, Phu Quoc City for investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
