On March 9, the Border Guard Command (BĐBP) of Hue City said that on the evening of March 8, in Pa Hy village (A Luoi 5 commune), the unit coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City and the People's Committee of A Luoi 5 commune to organize the program "Moon and River Festival" in the form of stage performance.
The program aims to celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term; and also celebrate the 67th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Border Guard (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2026) and the 37th Anniversary of the All-People Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2026).
Before the art program took place, the Organizing Committee organized a bonus Q&A session on regulations related to elections, attracting a large number of people to participate. The activity contributed to propaganda, raising awareness and responsibility of the people in exercising their rights and obligations as citizens.
In a lively atmosphere, people in the area excitedly enjoyed many songs, dances, and music praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, country and the image of Border Guard soldiers. The performances were elaborately staged, contributing to arousing pride and fostering trust among people in border areas.
On this occasion, the units presented 100 gifts to policy families and households in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 60 million VND.

The Border Guard Command of Hue City coordinated with Hue Central Hospital and A Luoi 1 Commune People's Committee to organize health check-ups, health consultations and free medicine distribution for more than 150 people; and presented gifts to 50 poor households, with a total value of more than 50 million VND.
In addition, a working delegation led by Colonel Hoang Minh Hung - Commander of Hue City Border Guard Command, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities, inspected the work of ensuring political security and social order and safety to serve elections in the border area.

In A Luoi 1 and A Luoi 4 communes, the delegation inspected the preparation work in some polling areas, grasped the situation of ensuring facilities, plans to maintain security and order, and conditions to serve voters in border areas participating in elections.
Through inspection, Colonel Hoang Minh Hung requested border posts to strictly maintain combat readiness duty, strengthen patrols and controls, proactively grasp the local situation, promptly handle arising situations, and maintain stability before, during and after the election day.
At the same time, units closely coordinate with local authorities to promote propaganda and mobilize people to raise awareness about citizens' rights and obligations, and participate in elections fully and in accordance with legal regulations.
Faced with the specific characteristics of border areas with rugged terrain and difficult traffic, units are also required to proactively develop support plans so that voters in remote villages and hamlets can participate in voting conveniently.
