4,200 houses are put into use
Up to now, all 4,411 households approved for housing support in Binh Dinh province have started construction and repair of houses. Of which, 2,224 households are people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs, 2,187 households are poor, near-poor and have just escaped poverty.
Notably, 4,200 households have completed the construction, repair and putting houses into use, reaching 95.3%. Up to now, November 10 in the province has reached the target in erasing temporary houses and dilapidated houses, including: Quy Nhon City (15 units), An Nhon town (72 units), Tuy Phuoc district (114 units), Tay Son (278 units), Phu Cat (451 units), Van Canh (419 units), Vinh Thanh (287 units), Phu My (617 units), Hoai An (532 units). Particularly, Hoai Nhon town - the locality with the most supported number of houses (890 units), is expected to be completed this week.

The total resources mobilized for the program to date have exceeded 303 billion VND. In addition to the state budget and social mobilization sources, localities also actively mobilize contributions from working days and materials from people and the community. Of which, more than 6,118 working days, nearly 578 tons of cement, 51,000 bricks, more than 400 blocks of soil, sand and hundreds of square meters of floor tiles were mobilized to support people in building and repairing their houses.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province Le Binh Thanh said that identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as a key political task, in recent times, the Front system at all levels has proactively taken action, promoting propaganda to raise public awareness of the humanistic meaning of the movement.

"The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at the provincial level have mobilized a total of 22,228 working days, supporting people to demolish old houses and transport materials. At the same time, 17.2 tons of cement, 9,000 bricks, 13 sand trucks, 10 clay trucks and 40 boxes of ceramic tiles were contributed... to help households soon stabilize their housing," said Ms. Thanh.
No one should be lacking housing
According to the Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan, in order to speed up the program, the Provincial People's Committee has directed to deploy according to the motto "clearly clear people, clear work, clear progress, clear results, clear responsibilities". The working groups were established, regularly checked the actual, promptly removing difficulties and problems and mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, levels, branches and people.
"Thanks to the determination and synchronization from the province to the grassroots, problems related to land, capital, resources, construction material mines... were all resolved quickly and effectively, contributing to helping the program to be completed ahead of schedule," Mr. Pham Anh Tuan emphasized.

Binh Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung, Head of the program Steering Committee, highly appreciated the cooperation of people, businesses and social organizations. He affirmed that thanks to the synchronous and scientific participation, along with the cooperation of the whole society, the program has brought high results, completing it ahead of schedule after only more than 3 months since its launch (September 9).
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung also emphasized that the determination of all efforts has helped the province quickly remove problems related to land, funding, material resources... so that no one is left behind. It is expected that on May 16, the province will hold a ceremony to announce the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, and renovate houses for meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, and newly escaped poverty households.
The Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee requested that, after completing the program, localities continue to pay attention to the implementation of security policies, gradually improving and improving the lives of poor, near -poor and policy families. At the same time, it is necessary to stick to the facility, regularly review and promptly detect cases still difficult for housing, propose solutions for the province to continue calculating and arranging support in the next phase, ensuring that all people are settled.
