Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to continue to urge and strengthen inspection of units operating in the mineral sector to properly implement the provisions of the license, especially regarding the licensed area, reserves, exploitation capacity and purpose of mineral use.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Dinh province requires enterprises to seriously exploit the right type of minerals, scope and area according to the license; in case of discovering a type of mineral with higher value, it must report to the competent authority for guidance on procedures according to regulations.
Encourage businesses to apply advanced technologies in exploitation to maximize mineral recovery; strictly implement land procedures and ensure load capacity during mineral transportation.
Seriously install weighing stations to monitor the load, surveillance cameras (integrated with AI technology capable of counting and calculating the number of vehicles) connected from the mining area to agencies, for monitoring and supervision according to regulations; install all boundary markers of the mining area, install information boards in the mining area licensed by the Provincial People's Committee.
Strictly carry out statistics and inventory of mineral reserves according to reality; monthly statistics, calculations, and updates of data in books and documents must be made to declare output for calculating resource tax and determine annual mining output.
Comply with financial obligations such as: resource tax, environmental protection fee, mineral exploitation right fee and land rent to the State budget; strictly contribute funds for building infrastructure in mineral exploitation for the locality according to regulations...
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department to closely coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and districts, towns and cities to check and compare declared data, tax and fee payments with licensed output and actual output.
Localities regularly inspect and monitor mineral exploitation activities in the area, promptly detect and proactively handle violations in accordance with current laws. Local mineral exploitation enterprises are required to seriously contribute funds for infrastructure construction.
