On May 9, functional agencies at the People's Committee of Bac Nha Trang ward said that they had inspected the business activities of parachute services and chairs of hotels along Pham Van Dong beach after receiving feedback from the information portal of Khanh Hoa province.
According to reports, recently, some hotels along Pham Van Dong street have allowed private households to place too many sunbathing service chairs in the Hon Chong - Bai Duong beach area.
Many chairs, even though densely arranged, occupy most of the beach area, causing difficulties for people and tourists when traveling, playing, and swimming in the sea.
In the cement yard area leading to the sea, opposite the traffic light on Dang Tat street, a spontaneous motorbike and bicycle parking lot appeared to collect money from people swimming in the sea.
After the citizen's reflection, Mr. Le Van My - Director of the Public Service Center of Bac Nha Trang ward sent forces to inspect the reality and recorded the situation of umbrellas and chairs blocking people's way to the sea.
Through inspection, the Public Service Center of Bac Nha Trang ward made a record and reminded business households renting premises to use the beach to install umbrellas and chairs not to encroach on public areas. Up to now, the encroachment situation in the beach area has been overcome.
Regarding the reflection related to the spontaneous parking lot in the area opposite Dang Tat street, the Public Service Center of Bac Nha Trang ward said that this is a temporary parking lot serving people and tourists during the April 30th and May 1st holidays. Currently, this parking lot has been dismantled and is no longer operating.
According to Lao Dong's investigation, currently in the area along Hon Chong - Bai Duong coast, there are 7 hotels licensed to arrange umbrellas and chairs to serve guests at the beach. These contracts were previously signed and managed by the People's Committee of Nha Trang City (old), but they have all expired.
In the near future, functional agencies of Khanh Hoa province will issue a new price framework for parachute and chair rental services at the beach. On that basis, Bac Nha Trang ward will consider, handle and manage operations according to its authority.
