In the last hours of the old year, when there were only a few hours left until New Year's Eve to welcome Binh Ngo Spring 2026, on February 16 (the 29th of Tet), Colonel Tran Huu Ich - Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command visited, wished Tet and gave gifts to patients being treated at Da Nang Hospital and Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

While each family gathers together, the streets are bustling with Tet shopping; in the hospital, many patients are still silently facing pain and homesickness. In each department and treatment room, Colonel Tran Huu Ich kindly comes to the hospital bed, visiting and encouraging those who cannot reunite with their families in the sacred moment of New Year's transition. Warm handshakes, wishes for peace and good health... have somewhat soothed the emptiness of patients in the midst of the New Year's Eve moment.
Sharing with all circumstances, from seriously ill patients, lonely people to families still facing many difficulties, Comrade Commander of the City Military Command sent a wish that each patient maintains faith, is optimistic about treatment, and soon overcomes illness to return to their loved ones' arms. The presence of soldiers in the last hours of the year not only carries Tet gifts, but also carries the warmth of human love.
On this occasion, Colonel Tran Huu Ich also acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility and dedication of the team of doctors and nurses on duty during Tet. Despite increasing work pressure, doctors and nurses still silently maintain the pace of life for the hospital, so that patients can be cared for promptly and safely in the transitional period.

The City Military Command presented nearly 200 Tet gifts to inpatients. Each gift is a wish for a peaceful new year, a message of sharing from officers and soldiers of the city's armed forces: in the sacred moment of transition of heaven and earth, no one is forgotten, no one is left behind.
Activities to visit and give gifts to patients during Tet continue to spread the image of soldiers who are close to the people, for the people, embellishing the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", contributing to fostering the "people's heart formation", firmly stepping into the new year with faith and hope.
